Did you know that ColorBee offers professionally framed prints? Our frames are black and made of real wood. They include a 3-inch mat border on all sides of the print to really show off the design. Professional frames give them a custom look at a reasonable price.
Occasionally our customers may want a different color or different style of frame and they'll ask where to buy picture frames. Here are some of our best suggestions:
IKEA
I love IKEA Ribba frames. For the price they just can't be beat. But I will say, you get what you pay for. After lots of use my Ribba frames will sometimes start to separate on the corners. But they're available in several colors and sizes making them one of my favorite choices.
TARGET
Target's Threshold line has some very nice wood frames with a weathered look in a variety of sizes. Pricing is reasonable and the quality is good.
POTTERY BARN
Pottery Barn frames are some of my favorites because the quality is good and I love the variety of size and finish options. They also have some hard to find sizes.
CRAFT STORES
You can get basic good frames at craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. For a big gallery wall of matching frames many designers will shop at places like this.
WEST ELM
West Elm is also another favorite place to shop for unique frames. I love their mirror gallery frames with a crisp white mat.
RESTORATION HARDWARE
Another source is one that not many people are aware of - Restoration Hardware. Their prices may be a little higher than elsewhere, but the quality can't be beat. A variety of interesting finishes like this Antique Nailhead metal frame lend a modern sensibility with an industrial look.
